    Design Engineer (Solar energy industry) - Somerset West

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must have an engineering qualification
    • 3 Years’ relevant experience
    • Registered at the Engineering Council of South Africa
    • Renewable and Electrical software skills
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Team Leader
    • Goal Driven

    DUTIES:

    • Design and optimize solar photovoltaic systems for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
    • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal system configurations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solar solutions into existing infrastructure.
    • Stay abreast of the latest solar technologies and industry trends to ensure our designs are state-of-the-art.
    • Prepare detailed engineering drawings and documentation for permitting and construction.
