Job Description    

• Senmin is looking to recruit a Development Metallurgist to work in Sasolburg. To conduct metallurgical technical test work (flotation, microflotation and flocculation) as per Technical Service Request. The support of Product Development projects through Metallurgical expertise.

Duties & Responsibilities    

•  Conduct technical test work (flotation and flocculation).
•  Adhering to project time frame, conducting technical test work, reagents preparation & sample preparation.
•  Writing scope of work for all the technical test work.
•  Population the results of the technical test work and writing the technical report after each completed project.
•  Housekeeping and adhering to SHEQ policies & standard operating procedures.

Qualifications & Experience    

•  Matric / Grade 12.
•  National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy or NQF equivalent.
•  Minimum 1 - 5 year experience in Metallurgical Laboratory.
•  Computer Literate.
