Diagnostic Technician - Paarl at SydSen Recruit

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles (petrol and diesel)
• Identify faults in engine, transmission, electrical, ABS, and airbag systems
• Interpret diagnostic data, fault codes, and wiring diagrams
• Conduct electrical and electronic testing using appropriate tools
• Provide accurate repair recommendations and reports
• Support workshop technicians with complex technical issues
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Motor Mechanic (Trade Test / Red Seal preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in automotive diagnostics
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electronics and systems
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and software
• Valid driver’s license
