Diesel Mechanic - Newcastle at SydSen Recruit

Requirements:

• Trade Test Certificate (QCTO/Red Seal or equivalent) in Diesel Mechanics.
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualifying experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with specific expertise in UD Trucks.
• Proven skills in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles, particularly UD Trucks.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
• Valid driver’s license; Code EC or Code 14 license with PDP (Professional Driving Permit) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain UD Trucks, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and advanced troubleshooting to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Conduct repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems specific to UD Trucks.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and UD-specific software to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and job cards in compliance with QCTO and industry standards.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols and regulations.
