Job Description

• Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Minimum Requirements

• A-level or B-level Diesel Mechanic qualification.
• Relevant experience within the automotive, motor vehicle or logistics industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with diesel engines, servicing and repairs.
• Hydraulics experience will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and diesel-related faults.
• Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Perform inspections and identify potential mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment remain safe, reliable and operational.
• Assist with general mechanical and maintenance requirements as needed.
