Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Minimum Requirements
A-level or B-level Diesel Mechanic qualification.
Relevant experience within the automotive, motor vehicle or logistics industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge and practical troubleshooting ability.
Experience with diesel engines, servicing and repairs.
Hydraulics experience will be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical and diesel-related faults.
Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
Perform inspections and identify potential mechanical issues.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
Ensure vehicles and equipment remain safe, reliable and operational.
Assist with general mechanical and maintenance requirements as needed.
