In this role, you will be helping to provide legal practical guidance and market insight by contributing to the smooth running of the current awareness services. You will be helping to source, verify, write and review legal news articles to be published on Lexis+ UK for UK legal practitioners.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Lexis+ UK current awareness news service for customers
Drafting and reviewing legal news articles and Supreme Court enhanced coverage of cases for the current awareness service
Delivering high standard and customer-ready news items that are delivered on the day, are factually correct, well written and adhere to LN house style
Sourcing external authors and liaising with them to provide commentary for enhanced news pieces and to repurpose externally written articles for the current awareness service
Applying taxonomy to news items consistently and accurately
Requirements
Hold a degree in Law, or possess equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail with a strong quality-focused approach.
Exhibit excellent legal research, analytical, and written communication skills.
Possess a solid understanding of legal issues, procedures, and a wide range of legal content types.
Show the ability to think creatively, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work effectively under strict deadlines, and take a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
Communicate clearly, confidently, and persuasively with a broad range of audiences, including senior stakeholders.
Be an innovative and solutions-driven problem solver, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team to resolve issues.
Demonstrate an understanding of, and openness to using, social media, digital tools, and emerging technologies.
