    Digital Design Team Manager

    Job Description

    Senior Creative Support:         

    • To work with the Digital Creative Lead to conceptualise and execute digital creative campaigns that are fresh, distinctive and effective.
    • To craft design and art direction across a wide range of digital media elements which meet the company’s internal and external communications needs. Including display, social and direct marketing
    • To coordinate all aspects of digital design, both digital marketing and website maintenance, to ensure a seamless flow of design across all platforms and digital touch points.
    • Work closely with the product/project owners in the digital landscape to ensure creative and design consistency for each brand and product.
    • Drive innovative and creative digital design concepts and solutions to improve user experience and client engagement processes.
    • Run with proactive concepts to push digital first results-driven creative.
    • To work with and manage the design team to execute on new digital campaigns for all products (Personal, Business, Life, Funeral, Pet, OUTvest) that make the most effective use of each digital medium.
    • To analyse and innovate to constantly build on the effectiveness within the digital ecosystem.

    Responsibilities:            

    • Responsible for managing the workflow in the digital department by making sure all work is up to date and meets all deadline requirements.
    • Provide effective support for the Digital Creative Lead on all concept requirements, ensuring a fresh and contemporary design and art direction component of the conceptual mix.
    • Directly responsible for the look and feel of all digital marketing elements, including responsibility for generating creative ideas and mock-ups that either take their lead from TV and other traditional mediums or stand alone.
    • To motivate and inspire the internal design team to produce the highest possible standard of work.
    • Contributing to discussion of effectiveness of executions and making appropriate online creative recommendations going forward.
    • Lead Creative on the Personal, Life, Business, Funeral, Pet and OUTvest brands with guidance from Digital Creative Lead; directly responsible for look and feel of all digital elements.
    • People and workflow management of the creative team to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Responsible for implementation and consistent use of corporate ID across all executions
    • Constantly strive to understand the company better in order to develop more relevant and effective strategies, concepts and executions
    • To make sure that there is synergy between the ABTL work and its digital components.

    Qualifications

    Essential:

    • 6 years’ experience in a professional digital design role.
    • 2 years experience in a management role
    • Experience with: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
    • Ability to clearly present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects.
    • A portfolio of previous digital design work to showcase experience and creativity

    Advantageous: 

    • HTML coding and After Effects experience an advantage
