Digital Insights Lead at CloudStream Global

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual who will take care of the design and development of the digital and technology requirements for insights capabilities.

Responsibilities: 

• Delivery of capabilities within approved budget 
• Availability of applications within targets 
• Adequate controls are in place to manage IT security requirements 
• Co-ordinate and manage implementation of required security controls  
• Implement best practices around activities such as incident management, problem resolution, change management, and production support 
• Ensure that changes in the infrastructure / services / systems have been approved and tested  
• Ensure that Database Patches / upgrades, Operating Systems Patches / upgrades, Hardware upgrades have been tested and change controls have been assigned to the relevant area for implementation 
• Ensure that the business is informed about Vendor activities, new products or risks associated with the infrastructure components 
• Managing the process by which technical updates / patches are tested and applied through change control 
• Communicate expectations of service providers and communicate and manage the responsibilities of the service providers internally to deliver optimal service delivery, governance, ROI and end-user/customer satisfaction 
• Develop and implement plans to eliminate risks and to provide effective backup and restore functions for all business-critical systems 
• Manage the infrastructure configuration and deployment requirements 
• Participate in the regulatory DR and BCP testing 
• Test results to ensure systems are functional following an interruption in service 
• Creating an environment in which learning and development are emphasized. 
• Monitoring and managing the performance and development of staff within the area.
• Assisting with talent review sessions and succession planning 

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science etc 
• Post-Graduate Qualification 

Requirements:

•  8+ years’ experience delivery high quality and cost effective technology solutions (including the implemention of online digital systems)
• Transunion & Experian experience
• Experience in managing a team 
• Managing Vendor Relationships, Negotiation & Supplier Management 
• Good functional knowledge of Digital self-help in the financial space
• Experience in managing projects 
• Building and maintaining relationships 
• Managing a cost-effective budget  
• International exposure (Advantageous)
