    Purpose Of The Role

    • A great opportunity has arisen to oversee the operation and development of all formats of Digital Learning programs or computer-based virtual courses for the business. This includes the selection/production of media to use during training, or utilizing your knowledge of computer programming to prepare Digital Learning modules, engaging with subject matter experts to gather materials and to shape courses accordingly.
    • You should have a firm grasp of how people learn with excellent web design, writing, communication and collaboration skills. Ideally, the perfect candidate should also have experience in managing projects and a working knowledge of basic graphic design. Your responsibilities may also involve the integration Digital Learning into a live classroom.
    • You shall be responsible to develop and evaluate online curriculum content, facilitate online classes, upload course materials and resources like e-books and workbooks, and assess student work through the course. You need strong technical skills, as you must use web-based learning platforms to create and teach training sessions. You shall also need teaching experience and excellent written communication skills.

    Duties Include, But Not Limited To

    • Design, create, maintain, and improve technical training programs.
    • Consult with customers and subject matter experts to assess training needs, determine training development strategies, and propose implementation projects.
    • Lead projects to develop technical training programs while meeting schedule, performance, and quality goals.
    • Instructional Design/ Story Boarding: apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
    • Apply development processes and learning technologies in the creation and delivery of technical training programs.
    • Identify training industry trends and best practices for inclusion in training programs.
    • Evaluate training program effectiveness and improve programs based on the data.
    • Maintain visual components of the company’s brand(s) and related corporate identity.

    Essential Criteria

    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology or related field, e.g. in instructional design or educational design
    • Minimum 3-year track record of successful training development of complex subject matter in a global environment to diverse adult audiences using multiple delivery methods (e.g., eLearning, virtual-instructor led)
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing structured learning frameworks/approaches such as ADDIE
    • Demonstrates consistent behavior aligned to the Organizational Culture
    • Ability to design and develop electronic learning programs using industry-standard software packages, such as Adobe and Microsoft products
    • Ability to manage training development projects whilst working independently
    • Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills to communicate subject matter
    • A Portfolio of Evidence (POE) will be required

    Desirable Criteria

    • Experience in Project Management will be an added advantage
    • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
    • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
    • Flexibility in curriculum design and implementation to meet the evolving demands of a dynamic workplace
    • Experience with SCORM Cloud is a plus
    • Experience with Authoring tools such as Articulate 360.
