    Responsibilities

    What does a Digital Marketer do at Mr Price? 

    The Digital Marketer will develop and execute data-driven digital and social media strategies to drive brand awareness, online engagement, and sales growth. This includes:

    • Strategy & Planning: Analyzing market trends and customer behavior to create and implement comprehensive digital marketing and communication plans, including SEO strategy, content calendars, and campaign goals. Collaborating with stakeholders to align digital efforts with overall business objectives.
    • SEO & Performance Marketing: Optimizing organic search performance through keyword research, technical SEO, and ongoing monitoring of key metrics. Executing and reporting on performance-driven campaigns across all digital channels (including social media, email, and display advertising), collaborating with brand, commercial, and eCommerce teams to maximize ROI. Managing budgets and third-party vendor relationships.
    • Content & Audience Management: Creating engaging content, curating and scheduling content across various platforms, and developing targeted audience segments (including custom and lookalike audiences) to personalize customer experiences and drive acquisition and spending.
    • Analytics & Reporting: Establishing, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, providing actionable insights and recommendations to the business, and staying up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends.

    Qualifications

    • Marketing / Digital related degree or diploma
    • 3 – 5 years  ecommerce / social media experience in the retail space
    • Google Analytics
    • Knowledge of digital / social media marketing e.g. digital advertising, paid and organic social advertising, email marketing & performance marketing
    • Strong Reporting skills – analytical & detail orientated.
    • Outstanding written communication skills.
    • Commercial mindset for negotiating and leveraging influencers, third parties and sponsorships.
