    Digital Sales Manager - Modderfontein

    Your responsibilities

    • Creating, planning and implementing a digital sales strategy and driving strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with the local and global strategy, achieving digital sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency within the power, water, oil and gas and petrochemicals industries
    • Meeting the sales target either by directly leading or by supporting key pursuits, identifying opportunities at existing and potential new customers within Sub-Saharan region, determining plans for acquisition, requesting and influencing resources to support the pursuits
    • Supporting the development of strong relationships with key customers, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers
    • Ensuring efficient marketing communications, ensuring achievement of sales volume by setting appropriate sales prices and margins for all sales proposals and participating in the negotiations of key contracts
    • Ensuring all staff and partners (under scope) understand ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards and act accordingly
    • Implementing and ensuring compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies and processes in their assigned area, ensuring adherence to all internal and statutory regulations and policies pertaining to the teams in scope
    • Ensuring integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope, accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope and continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering tertiary qualification
    • Minimum 5 years Electrical and Automation Systems/Projects Sales Experience and operational or sales experience within the power, water and oil and gas industries
    • Minimum 3 years digital sales experience and sales management.
    • Preference will be given to employment equity candidates.
