The post requires a person with a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration/Management Sciences/ Law or equivalent
Certificate in Municipal Finance Management (SAQA qualification ID No: 48965) a provided for in Regulations will be an added advantage.
A post Graduate qualification in fields related to Public Administration will also be an added advantage.
5 years’ experience at Middle Management level and have proven successful management experience in Administration
REQUIREMENTS

Advanced knowledge and understanding of relevant policy and Legislation
Advanced understanding of institutional governance systems and performance management
Good knowledge of corporate support services, including
Human capital management, Legal services, Facilities Management, Information
communication technology, Council support and Records management
Good understanding of Labour Relations Act, and other labour related prescripts
Legal background and human management, and
Knowledge of coordination and oversight of all specialized support functions
Good facilitation and communication skills in at least two of the three official
