Cybersource, Visa’s digital merchant and acquirer payment management platform, with industry leading global processing connectivity, risk and fraud management, and payment acceptance solutions. Cybersource is a strategic distribution platform for Visa products and services, and a critical value-added service for merchants and acquirers accepting many payment methods globally.
Regional Solutions Management is the strategy and solutioning team that works with the regional sales, business development and marketing teams to understand market trends and opportunities and key client needs, and to develop product investment and go-to-market plans. The CEMEA Regional Solutions Manager serves as a liaison between Sales and Product, developing strategy and driving delivery of compelling solutions for our client segments and verticals.
This role has overall responsibility for Cybersource Solutions within the CEMEA region, reports to the Global Head of Regional Solutions with an indirect reporting line to the CEMEA business lead. The person in role will be an active member of CEMEA Cybersource leadership team. This is an individual contributor role.
Drive efforts to evolve overall Cybersource solution strategy and product investment prioritisation within the region, to establish business sponsorship and define execution criteria
Manage all aspects of demand, prioritisation, tracking, reporting and delivery of CEMEA region funded product under the Global Expansion initiative
Drive efforts to evolve the Cybersource local market solution strategy/prioritisation to establish business sponsorship and define execution criteria
Champion the adoption and commercialisation of new products into the region supporting the business with client evaluations of beta product
Participate in the commercialisation process for new products acting as the regional representative across areas such as pricing, packaging, solution marketing and sales training
Develop and maintain regional solutions roadmap informed by the solution prioritisation process and underlying product capability builds and specific project efforts
Support client teams with solution requirements and definition for strategic clients, acquirers and enterprise merchants, working with Sales Engineering and Global Services team members as required
Lead creation/design of new market or client focused solutions that generate significant revenue contribution for the region and overall business
Conduct regional competitive and regulatory intelligence activities to evaluate competitors’ activities and implications to inform senior executive decision-making
Thought leadership: You will continuously challenge the status quo and you will be relentless in your focus to initiate and drive change
Author content for closed customer and public forums
Maintain close relationships with key merchant and acquirer business contacts and end-users to proactively solicit feedback on features, functionality, services and future requirements
Develop and maintain working relationships with the regional Visa product team seeking and developing opportunities for collaboration and go to market partnerships
Advanced technical, business and operational understanding of banking and payment card systems and processes
Experience with a payment gateway, payment facilitator, merchant acquirer or financial technology company
Good knowledge and experience of marketing principles, product management and merchant acceptance business
Experience/knowledge of emerging payment trends and competitive landscape
Strong analytical, quantitative, commercial, project management and interpersonal skills
Ability to envision and articulate a long-term product strategy designed to improve the Cybersource customer experience and value proposition
Ability to inspire and lead high performing cross-functional teams who can envision and create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients
Disciplined and tolerant of ambiguity, with the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple organisational levels internal and external to Cybersource and Visa
Intellectual curiosity and interest in digging into the detail, understanding data, making recommendations based on the data and using it to solve problems
Strong and demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills
Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
• 8+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree; or
• 6+ years of experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD); or
• 5+ years of work experience with a PhD
