Dispatch Supervisor (Lichtenburg) at Afrimat

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• Grade 12\ NQF Level 4
• Relevant degree or diploma (Logistics)
• 3 years’ experience in a similar warehouse environment

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Supervise and lead a team of dispatchers to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate dispatch of shipments or service calls
• Address any issues or concerns that arise during the dispatching process, including delays, accidents, or service failures
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of dispatchers and provide coaching and training as needed
• Prepare and review daily dispatch reports and metrics to ensure performance goals are met
• Develop and implement dispatching policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and productivity
• Resolve customer complaints related to delivery or service issues promptly and professionally
• Perform other duties as required by management
• Assure compliance with protocols, procedures, guidelines, policy, and law
• Train current personnel on new dispatch equipment, procedures, policies, and regulations in group and one-on-one settings
