Pack and dispatch sample containers following set procedures
Accurately log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) as quickly and efficiently as possible as per the chain of custody (CoC)
Preparation of subcontracted samples for analysis and send-outs
Maintaining stock levels and re-ordering with Management
Working closely with Project and Office Management
Proactively address any issues or concerns from clients regarding sample containers being sent to clients e.g., timelines, couriers, stock levels
Monitor and maintain prepared sampling containers
Retrieval, Storage and Disposal duties to maintain the flow within the department
Compliance with the company Quality, Health and Safety procedures at all time
Working hours: 8:00 till 17:00 - 40 hours with an hour lunch
Own transportation
Skills / Qualifications
Experience in dispatch or logistics preferred
Good level of English and Maths required
Education level: Grade 10 - 12 Matric
Highly motivated and organised individual
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently, as part of a team and adhere to deadlines
