    Distribution Centre General Manager (71889)

    Job Description

    • A leading FMCG manufacturing company is looking for an experienced and dynamic Distribution Centre General Manager to take overall responsibility for a high-volume Distribution Centre
    • This is a key leadership role for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and has the ability to drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, service delivery and people performance. You will play a critical role in ensuring the Distribution Centre operates efficiently while delivering high service levels and supporting the wider business strategy

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and manage end-to-end Distribution Centre operations
    • Drive productivity, capacity utilisation, inventory accuracy, OTIF and service levels
    • Manage operating budgets, costs, labour productivity and performance
    • Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing management team
    • Ensure compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, Quality, Health & Safety and audit requirements
    • Drive stock integrity, loss prevention, waste reduction and operational efficiency
    • Champion continuous improvement, WMS optimisation, technology and automation initiatives
    • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business or related field
    • 5-7 years' relevant experience, including 3-5 years in senior management
    • Proven experience managing large-scale, high-volume Distribution Centre or warehouse operations
    • Strong operational, commercial and people leadership capability
    • FMCG, food manufacturing, retail or QSR experience preferred
    • Strong knowledge of inventory, logistics, WMS and continuous improvement
    • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required
