Divisional Finance Executive – Supply Chain at Pedros Flame Grilled Chicken

Job Description

• We are seeking a commercially astute and strategic Divisional Finance Executive to lead the financial performance, governance, and long-term growth of our Supply Chain division.
• This executive role will partner closely with senior leadership to drive financial strategy, support expansion into new regions and countries, manage risk, and provide actionable insights that influence key business decisions across multiple brands and markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the division's financial strategy and performance.
• Drive growth initiatives, including expansion into new regions and countries.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk.
• Deliver strategic financial insights and decision support to executive leadership.
• Oversee financial reporting, governance, controls, budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
• Support acquisitions, capital allocation, investment analysis, and business case modelling.
• Lead finance teams and collaborate with divisional leaders.
• Provide financial oversight and strategic support to Procurement, driving value creation through supplier management, cost optimisation, sourcing initiatives, and commercial decision-making.
• Drive process improvement, automation, optimisation, and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI.
• Strengthen audit, compliance, and risk management practices.
• Support manufacturing operations through cost accounting and financial performance management.

Requirements

• Qualified CA(SA).
• Minimum 10 years' post-qualification experience in senior finance leadership roles.
• Proven strategic financial leadership and commercial decision-making capability.
• Strong experience in cash flow management, financial planning, governance, and risk management.
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Experience with advanced ERP systems.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in multi-brand retail, manufacturing, FMCG, or QSR environments will be advantageous.
• Power BI or equivalent analytics experience beneficial.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience within multi-brand retail, FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain, or QSR environments.
• Exposure to multi-country operations and international expansion projects.
• Power BI or equivalent business intelligence and analytics tools.
• Experience leading finance transformation, automation, and digital finance initiatives.
• Knowledge and practical application of AI-driven finance solutions.
