Driver/Messenger (Midrand) at Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA)

Description
OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• To render effective and efficient messenger and driving services to SACAA.

Provide Messenger Services

• Collect and deliver parcels from various reception areas within SACAA and other agreed locations,
• Sort parcels delivered at SACAA reception and distribute to relevant location.
• Collect franked mail for posting and collect SACAA mail from Post Office and distribute.
• Accurately record all outgoing/incoming mail and parcels for records purposes

Provide Driving Services

• Timely collection/drop-off of SACAA guests as required 
• Provide safe and effective driving service with regards to the business and avoid mitigating traffic offences.
• Use SACAA vehicle for official use i.e deliveries and other official duties only.
• Be fully responsible for maintenance of company vehicle, including cleanliness, and ensuring regular services.
• Filling up with fuel as and when necessary, an accurate daily update of vehicle logbook and petrol consumption

General

• Collection of staff consumables as and when required

Requirements
Education

Minimum

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Code 8 Drivers License with PDP

Ideal

• Post-Matric Qualification
• Advanced Driving Course

Experience

• 3 Years in Messenger/Driver
