    Driver Trainer - Tshwane (Pretoria)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Essential: Matric.
    • Certification as a Driver Trainer, including credentials as an Assessor, Facilitator, and/or Moderator.
    • Possession of a valid Code 14 Driver License with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
    • Demonstrated experience of 3 or more years in a relevant training or learning environment.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential, while familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
       

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Train and access Code 14 heavy duty Drivers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
    • Maintain comprehensive records of training activities, including attendance, progress, and performance evaluations.
    • Oversee the recruitment and assessment process for new Code 14 heavy duty Drivers, identifying qualified candidates to meet organisational needs.
    • Conduct thorough driving performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing remedial training as necessary.
    • Facilitate both classroom and on-road on-the-job training sessions, utilising a variety of instructional methods to effectively convey key concepts.
    • Develop and maintain training schedules, ensuring timely delivery of training programs to meet operational demands.
    • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide input for the development of training materials, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company objectives.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to drivers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
    • Deliver constructive feedback to management regarding training outcomes and trainee performance, offering insights and recommendations for enhancement.
