Certification as a Driver Trainer, including credentials as an Assessor, Facilitator, and/or Moderator.
Possession of a valid Code 14 Driver License with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
Demonstrated experience of 3 or more years in a relevant training or learning environment.
Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential, while familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Train and access Code 14 heavy duty Drivers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Maintain comprehensive records of training activities, including attendance, progress, and performance evaluations.
Oversee the recruitment and assessment process for new Code 14 heavy duty Drivers, identifying qualified candidates to meet organisational needs.
Conduct thorough driving performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing remedial training as necessary.
Facilitate both classroom and on-road on-the-job training sessions, utilising a variety of instructional methods to effectively convey key concepts.
Develop and maintain training schedules, ensuring timely delivery of training programs to meet operational demands.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide input for the development of training materials, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company objectives.
Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to drivers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Deliver constructive feedback to management regarding training outcomes and trainee performance, offering insights and recommendations for enhancement.
