    DRP Analyst

    THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

    You will be responsible to provide necessary support to DRP manager and plan to ensure that the appropriate level of stock is available for sales at each distribution center including the hub to meet projected customer demand at lowest possible costs to the business and at targeted customer service level. You will also provide support to DRP Manager by providing inputs related to daily / weekly or monthly reporting metrics and conducting other type analytics required to create necessary reports.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Distribution Load Planning: Communicating with call Centre and production planners for ex-factory loads. Co-ordinating with 3rd party transporters / haulers and warehouses for vehicle scheduling with LCT to ensure optimum transport utilization.  Communicating with depots to ensure correct batches are loaded. Communicating with factory load planners and the Quality department to ensure efficient release of product for loading/replenishing. Managing customer and depot returns.
    • Ensure execution - Analyze and communicate relevant information to supply across supply chain and constraints on warehouse & transportation risks; details impacts of proposed actions and trade offs, ensure actions are realistic and achievable.
    • Deliver physical products – by planning distribution requirements and establishing distribution planning policies and constraints
    • Returns management and processing with reasons codes allocations
    • Depot Replenishing - Determining depot replenishment requirements based on forward estimates, historical stales, stock on hand/ in transit, forward orders, forward production plans, national and target weeks covers. Communicating with load planners with regards to requirements.
    • Managing customer and depot returns - Management of stocks with regard to out of stocks and over stocks, discontinuations and launches, communicating with depots with regard to stock receipts, stock age reports, generating and analyzing  stock age reports.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3-5 years experience Logistics 
    • FMCG experience preferred 
    • Grade 12
    • Diploma in SCM preferred
