DSC _ Operations Clerk at DHL Supply Chain

Job Purpose:  

• To provide administrative support at the DC and perform the duty of capturing all relevant data into the correct platforms, to support the Operations Team in the daily running of the operations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist the DC Controller and Team leader with deport related clerical duties whenever requested.
• To report and record any non-conformity with regards to customer requirements
• To work within operating areas as determined by management and the needs of the business
• When carrying out duties - follow standard operating procedures and safe working practices
• Perform administrative tasks in line with relative SOP's
• Be actively involved in and support change initiatives
• Honesty - pride in your job and an eye for detail
• Ensure adherence to 5S
• Assist with POD Scanning in Oculus
• Assist with daily capturing
• Assist Transport team (OPS) with Filling requirements
• Capturing of all JLR data as required by Management

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:

• Matric (Grade12)
• Relevant qualification will be an advantage
• Relevant experience in a similar position
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent interpersonal and planning skills
• Ability to read; understand and follow directions and instructions                     
• Attention to details                                                                                                                                                                                                
• Person should be able to enforce health and safety procedures and identify hazards
