Dynamics Tester at Amrod

Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required:

•  2 to 5 years of testing experience across multiple applications 
• ISTQB certified training or related field 
• Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies. 
• Working and practical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 
• Familiar with Agile frameworks 
• Familiar with integration and regression testing 
• Jira experience would be advantageous

Brief Description of Key Performance Areas:

• Liaise with business to understand support issues logged as well as understanding requirements for new development (change requests) 
• Visually draw diagrams/flows for change requests in order to assist with scoping and grooming of the change. 
• Reviewing new requirements and preparing test scenarios. 
• Executing tests on software usability. 
• Analysing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability. 
• Work hand in hand with the developers to ensure requirements are met and all defects are resolved timeously and correctly.
• You are required to follow through with a task from inception to deployment and ensure each task goes through the SDLC process. 
• Deployments: • Creating of Deployment Documents 
• Testing in Pre-Prod environment to ensure all tasks are ready for deployment to production environment 
• Post Deployment Testing in production 
• After Deployment care/support. Be available to assist and support business with any issues that arise after a deployment 
• Preparing reports on all aspects related to the testing carried out and reporting to the dev team. 
• Help troubleshoot and replicate issues 
• Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and pre-empt potential problems.
