    E-mail Marketing Specialist (Contract)

    Purpose

    As the email marketing specialist, you will be responsible for the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to drive engagement, qualified leads, conversion and ROI in our Marketing automation platform, HubSpot.

    You will own the execution of strategic email campaigns and support the creation of other campaign assets including landing pages, forms and automated workflows. The ideal candidate is technical, organized, results-driven, and adept at multi-tasking to ensure marketing deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.

    This position reports to the Director of Demand Generation and is a contract, four-month assignment.

    Responsibilities of the Role

    • Create and execute email marketing strategies for one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic email campaigns across the full customer lifecycle and purchasing journeys.
    • Manage the complete email campaign process including setting up segments, scheduling, planning, creating tracking codes, briefing copy & creatives, campaign set-up, QA, deployment, reporting and analysis.
    • Lead continuous improvement across email KPIs like deliverability, open rates, click through rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates and revenue through constant tracking and data analytics.
    • Develop and execute A/B testing within marketing automation platform to improve productivity, conversion rates and program/campaign ROI.
    • Continuously optimize and refresh existing automation workflows to improve conversion rates.
    • QA all content, tracking and list aspects for accuracy.
    • Monitor and maintain an excellent IP reputation.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5+ years relevant marketing experience (preferably with a background in B2B)
    • 2+ years hands-on experience with HubSpot and marketing automation and executing email marketing campaigns
    • Demonstrated skill in using HTML and CSS to build emails
    • Experience creating email templates quickly and efficiently
    • Demonstrable knowledge of setting up A/B testing for email marketing
    • Understanding of defining requirements needed for drafting and deploying emails
    • Experience with SendwithUs and Sendgrid (beneficial)
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of organization and accuracy
    • Proven experience in digital marketing analytics
