    Talent Development Consultant - Cape Town

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify training and development needs within the company & formulate annual training plans
    • Research, design and facilitate programmes and material to meet business objectives
    • Design and facilitate all induction, onboarding, product, and sales training material
    • Develop individual learning plans & produce training material for in-house courses as and when required
    • Ensure that all regulatory/ compliance training is completed annually
    • Ensure that all statutory & SETA requirements are met and that WSP and ATR process is completed annually
    • Oversee the full Learning Management System (LMS) function
    • Maximize training opportunities for employees by creating online material and using 3rd party training providers such as LinkedIn Learning and Udemy
    • Manage and update allocated training budget
    • Assess and provide feedback on the return on investment of training or development (surveys, questionnaires, knowledge transfer in the workplace etc.)
    • Assist and support managers to solve specific training problems and provide refresher training where needed

     Technical Skills:

    •  Grade 12/ Matric
    • A relevant degree/diploma (HR, Industrial Psychology, Education or Communication)
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in training & development
    • Experience in Retail or FMCG preferable
    • Must have experience in researching, designing material and facilitation of sessions
    • Good MS Office experience (must be able to design own material)
    • E-learning experience advantageous
    • Registered SDF and proven SETA funded programme experience advantageous
    • Good understanding/alignment to Weylandts brand
    • Valid drivers license and own reliable transport

    Interior Designer - Cape Town

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Thorough knowledge of and compliance with all Studio standards, naming conventions, standards and procedures and drive continuous improvements for the department
    • Assistance with putting together presentations for clients
    • Assistance with electrical and lighting coordination drawing packs, including Bed Elevations, Feature Lighting, Artwork Layouts and Window Treatments.
    • Ability to analyse and process consultant layouts in order to identify problems and propose solutions to designer
    • Excellent time management and communication skills to ensure all deadlines are continuously met with Project Managers and Suppliers.
    • Ability to be flexible and forthcoming with supporting and assisting team leaders and designers with achieving deadlines.
    • Ability to produce and navigate within complex models in Revit.
    • Good eye for producing architectural 3d views for Client presentation and internal meeting purposes, including appropriate angles, view ratios, texture and furniture model visuals.
    • Produce plans, sections, elevations, and details to convey interior design information such as joinery, wall finishes etc
    • Work under the direction of the Senior and Lead Interior Designers.
    • Manage multiple projects ranging from small to large-sized projects of basic to complex scope.

    Technical Experience:

    • National Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent.
    • Working experience in AutoCAD, Sketch up and be proficient in REVIT.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience.
    • Project experience: Minimum of two project types with involvement in min 3 stages of project scope.

    Personal skills and attributes:

    • Demonstrates a positive hands on, can-do attitude.
    • Able to work independently, yet be a team player.
    • Must be positive, energetic, a self-starter and have excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
    • Abe to work well under pressure and produce high quality work is pre-requisite.

    Sales Administrator - Pretoria

    Main accountabilities:

    • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of sales and orders, including production of invoices, delivery details and handling of payments
    • Responsible for balancing daily cash ups
    • Ensuring that all data gathered from customers and sales consultants is accurate (in relation to product codes and delivery addresses etc)
    • Answering telephones in a professional manner and answering queries efficiently when possible
    • Ensuring that company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
    • Production of reports as required (using Excel) and carrying out all related administration, including filing
    • Assist customers with sales of Homeware products
    • Assist consultants and merchandisers with housekeeping and when required on the store floor.
    • Participation in stock takes on a daily/ weekly basis as directed by the store manager.
    • As the first point of contact with customers, engaging and interacting to enhance the client experience and answer queries.
    • Handling customer complaints as far as possible and referring appropriately when necessary.
    • Must be willing to take on further administration responsibilities if necessary.

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12/Matric

    Experience and skills:

    • Excellent administration and typing skills are required. 
    • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office necessary.
    • Previous background in customer facing environment in admin role required.
    • Must be available to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays.
    • Passionate about décor and Weylandts furniture and homeware products.
    • Comfortable working with different systems and technology.
