ECI Supervisor at Worley

Note: Position is based at Mining Client in Zimbabwe (South-West Of Harare)

Main Purpose Of Job:

To supervise and control Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (discipline specific) construction execution at Project Site(s) in a manner that meets Global, Location and customer contractual requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Safety and Environmental Compliance Management requirements are met.

• Manage and control the onsite safety initiatives and enforce legal requirements.

• Manage and co-ordinate the onsite toolbox talks with contracting parties.

• Perform Discipline Specific Construction, Electrical, Control and Instrumentation, installation management

• Liaise and co-ordinate between the site contracting teams, the construction manager, WPRSA engineers and the clients’ representative.

• Instruct, guide and coordinate site contracting personnel, to achieve effective E, C&I execution.

• Undertake Schedule Management.

• Manage and control the contractor’s schedules against contractual programs by carrying out daily monitoring.

• Integrate Compliance (SHERQ) HSE; Risk and Quality Management in construction works.  

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Minimum ND Technical Qualification (Electrical Heavy Current)
• Minimum ND Technical Qualification (Control and Instrumentation)
• Electrical Trade test (HC)
• Site Technician experience on mining projects

Experience:  

• 10 years of experience as site E, C&I supervisor in a mining environment
• Electrical installation project environment experience
• Control and Instrumentation project environment experience
• Computer Literacy i.e. MS Office including MS Projects.

• Class 4 driver’s license.

• Appropriate formal Safety qualification in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and the Mine Health and Safety Health as amended.

• Appropriate Environmental training.

• Understanding of Quality Assurance principles and ability to implement/ ensure compliance.
