Electrical and Instrumentation Technician at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain various instruments, including pressure, temperature, and flow sensors.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Document all maintenance, repairs, and installations performed, adhering to company standards.
• Collaborate with the team to implement preventative maintenance strategies.
• Comply with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience in Cement or FMCG.
• Proven experience as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician in an industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and instrumentation equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
