Electrical Engineering Technician

- Experience 3 - 5 years

JOB PURPOSE:
- To provide professional electrical expertise in order to plan and design new or refurbishments to the existing electrical infrastructure. Ensure all available resources are utilised pertaining to the capital and operational planning functions within the Drakenstein area.
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- Code B driver’s license
- Computer literacy (WordPerfect, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, ArcView – GIS, Auto CAD, Solar, MS Suite and Memo manager)
- Human relations and communication skills
- Fluent in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
- Ability to give attention to detail
- High level of responsibility
- Ability to work under pressure without tolerance for errors
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 – 5 years relevant experience
