SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• Grade 12
• Senior Firefighting Certificate/ Higher certificate

• To manage and coordinate the rendering of Fire Safety in the Fire Services Department of Drakenstein Municipality to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient Emergency Services.

• Implements policies, procedures, and processes, and manages all aspects associated with the provision of omprehensive public library services, by supervising day-to-day functions, performance managing personnel, providing professional support and direction, developing and maintaining a balanced and relevant public library collection, developing and maintaining partnerships and relations, so as to ensure that the community receives an effective and efficient service that is relevant to their needs.

JOB PURPOSE:

• Manage, enforce, control and coordinates sequences associated with monitoring compliance with standards, procedures, regulations and specifications in terms of National Building Regulations and SABS Codes of practice, with regards to the submission of plans for approval and construction of building, preparing and presenting investigational reports, processing/ approving and issuing compliance notices to align practices.
