    Chief Accountant : Cash Management

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • To supervise the cash management section of the municipality.

    SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

    • B.Comm degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in the fields of Accounting or National Finance Diploma

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

    • Understanding the municipal reporting management environment.
    • Knowledge of municipal finance statutory and regulatory environment.
    • Knowledge of applicable accounting standards.
    • General management skills.
    • Computer skills (Microsoft Excel)
    • Valid driver's license.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 3-5 years’ experience at middle management.
