Electronic Engineer (EG 01) at Werkie

More about the role:

• You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of electronic instrumentation and control systems used in industrial and mining environments.
• The role covers both new product development and improvement of existing products, working closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure high safety, quality, and reliability standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic circuits and PCBs for instrumentation and control products.
• Work on embedded systems and firmware for electronic devices.
• Build and test prototypes and conduct functional and safety testing.
• Fault-finding and troubleshooting on electronic products and systems.
• Modify and improve existing designs based on testing results and field feedback.
• Assist production with technical support and manufacturing optimisation.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), test reports, and user documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with quality and safety standards required in heavy industrial and mining environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff on ongoing projects.

• Simulation software
• Embedded development software
• Electronic testing equipment

Skills and Qualifications:

• B.ENG  (Required)
• Able to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Technical Writing.
• Able to meet deadlines.
• Leadership ability – must be able to provide training when requested.
