Embedded Software Engineer at ASSA ABLOY Group

Responsibilities:

•  Design and implement new embedded firmware applications.
•  Develop low-level interfaces and maintain the existing code base.
•  Collaborate on the design and development of innovative products.
•  Document low-level concepts and provide cross-functional training.
•  Consult with colleagues to assess interfaces between hardware and embedded solutions.
•  Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and process development.
•  Investigate and resolve reported defects promptly, ensuring timely solutions.
•  Communicate effectively, providing regular updates and addressing team needs.

Desired Skills & Experience:

•  1-3 years of hands-on code development experience.
•  Proficiency in embedded C, C++, or Python.
•  Familiarity with hardware-level drivers (GPIO, UART, I2C, SPI).
•  Strong knowledge of source code management and configuration.
•  Understanding of test frameworks and automated build systems.
•  Ability to work independently and complete design tasks with minimal supervision.
•  Basic understanding of the software development life cycle, including design, architecture, and implementation.
•  Analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
