Grade 2: Successful completion of an appropriate Emergency Care Technician Course that allows registration with HPCSA as an Emergency Care Technician (ECT). Registration with the HPCSA as ECT. 7 years' experience after registration with HPCSA as an ECT.
Grade 3: Successful completion of an appropriate Emergency Care Technician Course that allows registration with HPCSA as an Emergency Care Technician (ECT). Registration with the HPCSA as ECT. 14 years' experience after registration with HPCSA as an ECT. Knowledge of Advanced Life Support protocols within the ECT scope of practice. A valid code 10 driver's license with PDP.
