Description

We are looking for a talented ENGINE DISMANTLER to join our team specializing in MANUFACTURING for our DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS SEGMENT in JOHANNESBURG , GAUTENG , SOUTH AFRICA .

In this role, the candidate will make an impact in the following ways :

• Performs non production activities which help the manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance
• Perform the activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and duties and demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities to improve quality, safety, process and employee development.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and other activities watching over company resources.
• Ensure that a quality product is delivered to the assembly line in the expected SRT time frame.
• Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation, policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role the candidate will need the following :

• Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.
• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
