Engineer: Applications Advance at Weir Minerals

Purpose of Role: 

• To represent, support, specify and sell WMA products by providing technical solutions to customers during the execution of product specific strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales: Grow and support Comminution product installed base in AME region
• Customer focus: Service existing clients, identify and develop new business through extensive travel and gathering market intelligence.
• Technical knowledge: Technical product presentations to customers and industry associations.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (mechanical / metallurgical / industrial / chemical) with five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understanding complete plant process and having past experience commissioning and operating plants would be advantages. Valid Driver’s license.
