Engineering Superintendent at Hire Resolve

Job Description

• Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for an Engineering Superintendent to be based at a Mine in the Northern Cape!

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee electrical engineering operations to ensure optimal availability, reliability and performance of plant and fleet equipment in support of production targets.
• Ensure compliance with MHSA requirements, statutory appointments and SHERQ standards, fostering a strong safety, risk and work ethics culture.
• Plan, coordinate and control maintenance activities, including fault finding, inspections, preventative maintenance and improvement initiatives across sections.
• Lead, coach and develop employees and contractors, ensuring effective resource utilisation, performance management and skills development.
• Control engineering budgets and costs, manage contractors and drive continuous improvement, optimisation and energy-efficiency initiatives.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Engineering Technical Trade Certificate
• N4 Engineering Certificate
• Supervisory Certificate
• 3 years Supervisory experience
• 5 years operational experience in a mining environment as an appointed Artisan
• Functional processing, maintenance and engineering equipment knowledge
