Job Description

As an Engineering Supervisor Hydraulic Reconditioning , you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include: 

• Consistently apply Safety & Health principles in all team interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities.
• Identify specific risks within working area and adhere to discipline-specific plans/system to avoid these risks
• Performance Reviews: Provide input to performance review reports as required on a daily/weekly basis and comply to data quality standards.   
• Deliver the shift plan within the context of the weekly plan and the requirements for the month, always considering what is needed to set up oncoming shifts for success
• Maintain equipment, machines, processes and tools in a manner that maximises availability with the required quality standards complied with.
• Execute activities to meet the plan and assist with defining the requirements of the SLA between Maintenance and Supply Chain.
• Execute inspection strategy and coordination of activities relating to asset integrity in relevant area.
• Implement management processes for employee & contractor management within work area
• Deliver on all standards as required by the Anglo-American Global Operating Model and AS&R best practise guidelines.

This role is in the AS&R Department on a Band 7 reporting to the Section Manager Recon FAB & Refurbishment.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Trade Certificate – Fitter & Turner
• N4 Engineering Certificate
• Valid South African Drivers Licence
• SAP experience is preferential
• Anglo American Operating Model Programme (advantageous)

Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in hydraulics maintenance operational experience within mining, plant or workshop operations.
