A Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech) in Civil Engineering. Three (3) years of post-qualification engineering experience.
Compulsory registration with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as an Engineering Technologist. The disclosure of a valid unexpired driver’s license.
Duties
Manage technical services and support in conjunction with engineers. Monitor, analyze, and determine actions to ensure effective contract administration. Coordinate the development of Service Level Agreements and manage all types of signed contracts. Monitor and evaluate contract performance in line with the service level agreements.
Monitor compliance and control in contract management and coordinate improved service delivery. Ensure the promotion of safety in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Manage administrative, human resources, and related functions. Financial management and provide inputs into the budgeting process, operational plan, procurement plan, and related matters. Compile and submit reports as required. Liaise with relevant bodies/councils on engineering-related matters.
Provide mentorship and supervision of personnel. Research / literature studies and technical engineering technology to improve expertise. Research and development through Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to keep up with new technologies and procedures.
