Enrolled Nurse at Anova Health Institute

Qualifications and Experience:

• Enrolled Nursing certificate or equivalent qualification 
• Valid registration with South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse
• Minimum of two years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HIV testing services trained
• Trained in Disclosure in the context of HIV in children and adolescents living with HIV.
• 2 years’ experience in working with adolescents living with HIV.
• 2 years’ experience in clinical HIV/Aids, TB, STI, and related work.
• 2 years’ experience in a primary health care setting.
• Previous experience in a surgical environment and counselling skills (an advantage)

Generic Skills:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy especially electronic mail, and or willingness to learn
• Basic organisational and administrative skill

• Empathy and understanding of issues of people living with HIV/AIDS
• Friendly and able to engage well with adolescents
