Enrolled Nurse - Theatre - JMH Isipingo at Joint Medical Holdings

PURPOSE OF POSITION

• To Provides age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS

• Must be able to practice within the scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Must be compliant with Hospital Policies and Regulations.
• Must possess excellent inter-personal skills.
• Must be able to provide safe, quality patient care in the ward.

COMPETENCIES (The following will be advantageous)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

(Educational Qualifications & Exp.

• Must be registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Preferably have two or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse in Theatre.
• Must be prepared to do calls (Theatre calls)
• Must have experience as an anaesthetic and circulating nurse.

• Must have excellent telephone skills.
• Must possess excellent inter-personal skills.
• Must be able to work independently under minimum supervision.
• Excellent observation skills.
• Must be computer literate
