An Enrolled Nurse (EN) in a theatre setting provides direct and indirect patient care, working under a Registered Nurse (RN) to support surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterility, assisting the surgical team with instruments (scrubbing), managing equipment, and ensuring patient safety and documentation, focusing on holistic care within their scope of practice.

Knowledge and insight into infection prevention principles
Promote and maintain patient health and give health education
Strong quality patient care orientation
BLS competent
Accompany Doctors on ward rounds
High energy levels and tolerance for stress/pressure
Identify risks and identify incident policies
Adaptable and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
Job Requirements
Current Registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse
Proven experience as an Enrolled Nurse
Previous experience in a Private Hospital is advantageous
