Enterprise Resources Planning Project Manager at Belgotex Floors

Purpose:

The ERP Project Manager is responsible for planning and implementing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. This person will document and plan the steps of the ERP implementation, manage stakeholders and vendors, monitor progress and provide formal feedback and progress reports to the IT Manager and Management team. The ERP Project manager will be responsible for setting milestones/goals and making sure that they are met.

Responsibilities:

• End to end management and co-ordination of the project. Managing the relationship between Belgotex and the chosen Vendor, making sure the vendor is meeting its promise and holding them accountable for any shortfalls.
• Design a project plan/project schedule and set timelines and milestones for each of the various tasks for completion.
• Monitor, measure and provide feedback on progress to the IT Manager and Management on a bi-weekly basis.
• Anticipate any roadblocks/areas for concern, identify risk factors and eliminate for successful project completion.
• Working with internal stakeholders, managing time/engagements and resources, as well as specific requirements of each business unit so that these are translated into workable solutions for the implementation.

 Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of IT systems (Preferably Systems analysis and Design) experience.
• Good track record/experience implementing an ERP system.
• The ability to solve complex problems which may arise.
• Ability to understand and document complex business processes.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Computer Science.
