Source prospects and leads in South Africa, working closely with the Head of Sales.
Develop strategies for prioritising, targeting, and closing key opportunities.
Manage the entire enterprise sales process, from initial outreach to closing the deal.
Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with relevant internal teams and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
Understand our customers' needs and help them achieve their business goals
Initiate and drive the sale of our clients' payment solutions within enterprise prospects.
Develop relationships with new customers, focusing on deal management and connecting customers with our clients' solutions.
Negotiate deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities
Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data using our CRM software.
Requirements
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to understand and explain technical products and interact with both highly technical and business-savvy B2B customers.
Strong network and content knowledge in the local fintech or banking space.
Ability to quickly establish trust with key stakeholders.
Ability to operate with urgency, drive and hustle to get things done.
Ability to think on their feet and be comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity and change.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience
5+ years of proven work experience in Enterprise B2B sales in account executive, or business development roles.
Experience selling to other financial technology companies or online businesses in need of payments or data products.
Experience in selling to large enterprise businesses, managing complex sales processes across multiple segments, and developing differentiated messaging and sales approaches across different target segments.
A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Experience using CRM software, e.g. Hubspot, to track deal progress and indicate next steps.
