ROLE DESCRIPTION
This role functions as part of a global specialized team, working with the best and latest MDM practices and SAP data knowledge, your primary area of responsibility will be to provide Master Data (Customer-, Vendor-, Material Master) support. A careful worker comfortable managing detail, you will need a solid understanding of the business priorities and be able to schedule tasks/workload according to the demands and requirements of the company ensuring SLA's and deadlines are met.

The role will require a flexible approach to accommodate the regional nature of the teams and the business units supported. Analytical skill required, you must be able to work on your own initiative depending on the project or task.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assumes responsibility for Regional vendor price list upload management
*Serve as a knowledge resource for our business in regards of Master Data and functionality driven by it
*Act as primary liaison with business stakeholders to ensure materials data is processed quickly and accurately into the ERP system
*Coordinate Vendor Price updates with uploads, team and business stakeholders
*Manage ad-hoc changes and requests for part and pricing setup
*Work with the data management team to ensure system data quality
*Maintain Complementary items
*Manage quality control reports to ensure proactive corrections to material data
*Prepare price change reports

Assumes responsibility for Customer Master data maintenance updates
*Pricing schedules
*Margin thresholds
*Product restrictions
*Business Rules Maintenance
*Customer Data

Assumes responsibility for Regional Address book and partner upload management
*Act as primary liaison with business stakeholders to ensure address and partner data is processed quickly and accurately into the ERP system
*Coordinate address and address properties updates with uploads, team and business stakeholders
*Manage ad-hoc changes and requests for address and Partner setup
*Work with the data management team to ensure system data quality
*Maintain address hierarchies
*Manage quality control reports to ensure proactive corrections to address and Partner data
*Prepare change reports

Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with management and company personnel
*Setting goals in accordance with team objectives and tracks progress toward goals
*Providing assistance to area personnel as needed
*Keeping management informed of area activities and significant problems
*Completing required reports and records accurately and promptly
*Attending meetings as required

*Staying informed of developments in ERP Data Analysis
*Completing special projects as assigned

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education/Certification
*Grade 12/National Senior Certificate
*Mathematics or Science A Level or equivalent

Required Knowledge
* Excellent knowledge of Excel
* SQL Knowledge

Experience Required
*1-2 years' experience as a SQL Analyst
*1-2 years' experience as a Master Data Analyst
*Good Experience with data manipulation and management
*SAP Material Master would be advantageous
