ESG Social & DEI Program Assistant at SoftwareONE

The role

• Our ESG program began in 2021, really gathering pace in 2022, with our first ESG report being published in 2023. With oversight from the Board of Directors, external consultancy, alignment to GRI, and buy-in from a variety of SWO stakeholders, our program is maturing very quickly. Our ESG program has considerable room for more growth, and to have a real impact.
• In this role you will be not only supporting the day-to-day tasks associated with project management but also developing strategic commitments, researching and compiling reports as well as assisting to develop communication campaigns for our internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Providing day-to-day project oversight and execution of all social initiatives and processes in line with our ESG project plan.
• Contributing to our ESG project across all its aspects.
• Managing all data related to social aspects at SoftwareONE.
• Being a key point of contact for the Social ESG Committees at SoftwareONE.
• Working closely with contractors who support our program, including volunteer and donation management platforms.
• Ensuring comprehensive data collection of all social aspects of SWO, aligned to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
• Supporting our efforts towards a more diverse supply chain.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders of social aspects of SoftwareONE., including HR, People and Culture, Talent Acquisition ONEImpact, Volunteers throughout our Global company, and HR.
• Working closely with our marketing team to shape and create ESG reporting material and driving our social Initiatives through all avenues of SoftwareONE.
• Providing feedback and analysis on project stages for continuous improvement.
• Maintaining SoftwareONE’s adherence to ESG regulations and standards from a social standpoint.

What We Need To See From You

• Have a passion for Social impact within the business, sustainability, diversity, equity & inclusion, social justice, employee welfare, and ethical standards.
• Have had previous project and program management experience
• Be a self-starter/self-motivated
• Have demonstratable research skills
• Be comfortable having direct engagement with senior leadership and the board of directors
• Have some experience or interest in marketing
• Have a degree in a relevant area, such as marketing, legal, compliance, or psychology
• Have an interest in a long-term career in ESG
