Excavator Operator (CAT 374) - Postmasburg

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The overall purpose of an Operator is to effectively operate the designated machine / equipment to support mining and / or hauling operations. An Operator is responsible for operating their machine in a safe manner to execute the Load and Haul plan.

Minimum qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 12
- 2 years’ experience in a mining operational role (equipment operation)
- Valid Machine competency certificate or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Must meet the required machine specific symbol on Anglo American Dover assessment
- More than one license to operate will be an advantage
- Experience as Mechanical Assistant or Artisan trade will be an advantage
- Medically fit & the ability to work shifts
