    Executive Assistant Commercial

    Job Description    
    A leading FMCG is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to leverage all relevant company assets in a manner which delivers sustainable growth in brand equity, sales volume, market share, competitive advantage and corporate reputation. To also lead all functional areas within the plant so that customer/stakeholder expectations are met and world class imperatives/benchmarks are achieved.

    • Managed franchisor/supplier relationships
    • Provide leadership support and guidance to the team

    • Formulated and controlled expense and capital budgets
    • Implementation of the regional business plan to meet and exceed target for their respective regions.
    • Provide leadership, coaching and capability development programs to enable the sales regions to meet growth objectives for their region.
    • Performance manage regional employees to deliver business plan.
    • Implement reward, recognition and retention plans.
    • Formulate and execute operating expenses and capital investment budgets.
    • Implement the Route to Market Strategy
    • Execute channel and promotional execution strategies.
    • Build superior knowledge and understanding of the South African market including shoppers, consumers, customers categories and competitors.
    • Build strong relationships with local communities and implement community upliftment programmes.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualifications

    • Minimum requirement: BCom or BA degree in Business, Sales or Marketing

    Experience

    • Minimum requirement: Minimum 5 years Sales experience in an FMCG environment and Minimum of 5 years Managerial experience
    • Computer literate
    • Experienced driver with a code 08 divers licence

    • Develop strategic business plans for both the sales and operations functions
    • Ensure optimal depot resourcing
    • Management of a sales team covering both on and off premise channels

    • Provide customer service excellence
    • Manage human resources
    • Manage a safe, healthy and risk free environment
