As part of the local executive management team, you will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, compliance, operations, and risk management. You will also be required to manage reporting systems and controls to the group standards and ensure compliance with relevant South African legislation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a SAICA registered CA(SA) or Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) or hold equivalent professional certifications.
You should have a minimum of five years relevant experience in a related role within the manufacturing environment, as well as knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, and relevant legislation such as the Tax Act (58 of 1962 and the accompanying regulations), VAT legislation, and any other relevant legislation
Your key result areas will include financial management, financial strategy, budgeting, cost and management accounting, audits, risk management, CAPEX, treasury, accounts receivable (credit vetting), accounts payable, taxation, procurement, and IT.
