Executive Manager – Technology and Digital Services at Zadna

​KEY JOB DELIVERABLES: 

Strategic Management: 

• Implement ICT strategies, governance frameworks, and infrastructure plans. 
• Analyse ZADNA’s strategic direction and translate it into actionable ICT roadmaps. 
• Manage risks and enhance safeguards for ICT security.

Growth and Development: 

• Design and execute strategies to stimulate the growth of the .ZA domain name space. 
• Develop industry-wide training programs and expand the participation in the domain registration ecosystem. 
• Convene and lead forums such as the ZA DNS Forum to foster innovation.  

Operational Excellence: 

• Oversee ICT infrastructure, ensuring stability, scalability, and security for DNS. 
• Manage departmental audits and optimise operational efficiency. 
• Secure ZADNA’s information assets and maintain business continuity plans. 

Financial Stewardship: 

• Develop and manage the department’s annual budget. 
• Contribute to ZADNA’s revenue through strategic domain name initiatives. 

Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, industry forums, and regulatory agencies. 
• Represent ZADNA in policy discussions and industry events. 

Leadership and Team Development: 

• Inspire and lead a high-performing team. 
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning. 
• Mentor senior managers and implement effective performance management systems.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent, postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• 7+ years of experience in DNS, IT Governance, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and related fields. 
• Proven leadership experience in ICT or networking infrastructure sectors.
