Job Summary

• Are you a seasoned Natural Resources Transactional Banking sales leader with the commercial instinct, client credibility and sector insight to grow a high-value corporate banking franchise? This executive opportunity is suited to a strategic, performance-driven leader who can shape sector sales strategy, unlock revenue growth, deepen client relationships and lead high-performing teams in a complex, matrixed banking environment.
• In this role, you will lead the Transactional Banking sales strategy and execution for a designated sector portfolio, with accountability for revenue growth, client acquisition, wallet share expansion and sector penetration. You will act as the senior Transactional Banking sales lead for the sector, partnering closely with Coverage, Product, Business Development, Operations and Regional teams to deliver integrated client solutions and strengthen the Bank’s competitive position.

Job Description

Your key accountabilities will include:

Sector strategy and commercial growth

• Develop and execute the Transactional Banking sales strategy for the designated sector.
• Drive revenue growth, client acquisition and wallet share expansion across the sector portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to increase market penetration and strengthen the Bank's competitive position.

Client relationship and sales leadership

• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic clients within the sector.
• Act as senior sponsor for key client opportunities and strategic relationships.
• Drive disciplined pipeline management, opportunity conversion and portfolio performance to deliver agreed financial and commercial targets.

Integrated solution delivery

• Lead the origination and delivery of integrated Transactional Banking solutions across Cash Management, Payments, Liquidity, Trade and Working Capital, and Investor Services.
• Partner with Coverage, Product, Business Development and Operations teams to deliver client-centric solutions.

People leadership and capability development

• Lead and develop a high-performing sector sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and commercial excellence.
• Coach and mentor team members to strengthen sales capability, client engagement and sector expertise.

Stakeholder and sector leadership

• Represent the Bank within the sector through industry forums, client engagements and market initiatives.

Risk, governance and compliance

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance and conduct requirements.
• Maintain a strong control environment across sales activities.

We are looking for;

• Your commercially astute, client-obsessed and influential banking leadership with a strong track record of building growth agendas, leading senior client engagements and delivering measurable revenue outcomes.
• Your ability to bring the credibility to operate at executive level, the discipline to manage risk and governance, and the leadership maturity to inspire teams in a fast-paced corporate and investment banking environment.
• Relevant degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Banking, Business or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance or Leadership advantageous.
• 8–12 years' experience within Transactional Banking, Corporate Banking, Corporate Sales or related financial services environments.
• Proven track record in managing and growing revenue across corporate client portfolios.
• Demonstrated experience leading sector-based sales teams and delivering commercial outcomes and Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong experience in client acquisition, relationship management and wallet share growth as well as an experience operating within complex and matrixed organisations.

• Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
