Executive Sous Chef at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts

Introduction:

We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of food and beverage and a proven track record of Kitchen Management within the hotel/resorts and restaurants industry. Individuals must display creativity and flair and the ability to provide guidance to others, and be able to evidence good business acumen, excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
 

Job Duties:

• 1-2 previous experience in a Executive Sous Chef position in a luxury resorts and large operation.
• Passionate about food - knowledgeable of current menu trends and concepts and able to demonstrate strong culinary skills
• Highly visible be able to manage multiple kitchens and bar including am extensive Banquet operation
• Excellent leadership skills required with ability to develop and coach his/her team. Able to connect, lead and motivate a team of Sous Chef & senior Chefs
• Able to run all aspects of all kitchens in absence of Executive Chef
• Strong business acumen - able to manage labor and food costs
• Menu engineering and menu development skills
• Must be hands on and be able to lead by example
• Must be mobile and willing to move eventually for the company
